    I also hope this doesn’t mean what we think it might mean but honestly it doesn’t look like it will be long term and older players could definitely use a bit of rest if we’re being serious about a playoff run this year.

    Remember, he only got sent down to keep playing during the break. I know it’s easy to pin this as a Sid-related move, but let’s not assume the worst just yet.

    Depth is good enough right now to weather Sid missing some time I believe, just not sure who slots where. Unfortunately we also have the toughest SOS and that doesn’t bode well.

    Killing it in WBS. If he has a decent couple of games in Pittsburgh, the only thing he’d be going back to Wilkes for is to pack up his apartment.

    I’m not expecting him to keep scoring at an insane rate, but if he keeps the intensity going he’ll keep his spot on the roster. He’s more than earned the chance.

    I’m interested to see how Muse handles the lineup if Crosby needs a couple games.

    I’m so excited to get back to watching this team after the break. i hope Sid won’t be out too long obviously, but the young guys look ready to take over. Undrafted to potential long term top 6 forward is incredible for this guy. Hope he scores many more hat tricks for the black and gold
