    Pretty tone-deaf move by the players, but they are wealthy elite athletes who live in the very definition of a bubble and have done so since they were young. This is not an excuse but a reason they might think this is a good idea.
    Authoritarians almost always use national sporting success as propaganda, and it’s a shame these young men are seemingly ignorant of that 🤷‍♂️
