   I would really prefer he just not come back this season. I really don’t want him to rush back because, let’s be completely honest with ourselves, we’re in last place with slim playoff odds

   I know athletes of his caliber can’t bear to sit by and watch their team struggle without them. And I know that rehab, especially for lower body injuries is absolutely brutal. But please, for the love of god Barky, take your time and come back next year. Playoffs would be a minor miracle at this point, and if we have the opportunity to regain our 1st round pick and grab a top 10 pick, then we need to take it. Our core is only going to get older and we’re going to need some cheap, high-end young talent to keep competing through the rest of this decade and into the 2030s
