@Canucks de Vancouver

[KevinWeekes] On me dit que @Canucks répond à de nombreux appels sur D Myers et qu’il pourrait être en mouvement sous peu.

I was wondering Myers would be a possibility to be moved this deadline.

  2. VaticRogue

Does he know that? Pretty sure his goal is to not move and his contract agrees

  3. arazamatazguy

This makes no sense unless he actually asked to be traded.

  4. OhHaiThere-

This gotta be clickbait. It’s been known he’s not moving mid season, due to family.

  5. TheLastOfBacon

I’d be surprised if he moved just on the basis that he lives out near Kelowna and seems to be happy here

Something much have changed in Myers camp because the consensus was they weren’t even considering a trade because he wasn’t going anywhere.

Myers could unironically get a first in the right circumstances so as much as I love the chaos giraffe I wouldn’t hate him moving

  7. boesersbussy

I would be absolutely shocked if he goes, mainly due to his family situation. He’s been very vocal over the years that he wants to stay here

    oh hell noes.

    don’t trade our future captain.

Easily a 2nd round pick + for a giraffe RHD

  10. berzyberzy

maybe Edmonton is close enough to Kelowna

  11. LGMatter

He took only 3m for the exact reason of not moving lol. He even lives here in the offseason

We are so cooked even Myers wants out of here 😭🦒

  13. Bnorm71

Shocking news and maybe nothing to it because it always sounded like he wanted to be a Canuck. Maybe wants to chase a cup now and willing to go to a real contender for a little while.

  14. WiFiForeheadWrinkles

Our neck/60 will no longer be elite

  15. Sarcastic__

I don’t know how true this is as Weekes is a bit hit and miss, but it isn’t shocking that over the course of a long trying season guys might be rethinking their desire to be here. If Myers wants to take his shot to win, more power to him. He’s been a loyal guy ready to stick up for his teammates and deserves another crack at winning.

  16. BatmanSpiderman

but could he even secured a top 6 role on a contending team? I didnt mean to be disrespectful, but in the same time you need to be realistic as well.

  17. avmp629

His NMC drops to a 12-team no-trade July 1, so if they’re planning on moving him anyway it makes sense to try and maximize the return if he agrees to it

  18. It’s kind of funny this is posted so soon after someone made a post praising him for wanting to be here lol

The 🦒 not being absolute chaos for us will be missed 🙁

End of the Myers era will be more devastating than the end of the Hughes era

Americans getting out while they can

  22. mmavcanuck

If this happens it’s gotta be Edmonton right?

  23. Hewpdreams

the rebuild (real) sure does hurt when it’s someone you think would actually help the next generation

all the best to the big guy, thanks for your time here if it’s true. won’t forget the 2024 run

  24. Betting it’s for a 2nd with retention to a team like the Oilers
