We didn’t “give up nothing for Kadri”
We had to trade Monahan to MTL to free up the cap space, and we had to send our 2025 1st to MTL to get them to take Monahan’s cap. So we lost Monahan and a first to sign Kadri. Not nothing.
I do wonder what the offers look like. Fortunately we won't be talking about this for to much longer since the deadline is close.
