What benefits do the Olympics really do for the NHL. The players get paid for playing in the NHL. Not for playing in the Olympics. So now all of the injured players who get paid for playing hockey in the NHL are not able to play because they are hurt ! That makes no sense at all to me. The fans who really pay the price are the ones who it is the most unfair to. Just saying. Just my opinion!!!
Craig Button thinks the Pens will not compete without Sid. Does he watch hockey and know that this is a team game, and the Pens have been a "team" since day one of camp? You said it DK with one comment. "The fourth line, *a rather knowing laugh that speaks of respect*, is the fourth line." The last few games before the break, this team was winning, including Sid, which was not contributing offensively. The other lines were contributing, and will continue to contribute until Sid comes back.
For people that are saying Avery Hayes could be the next Jake guentzel, You can’t say just yet, He may, He got the same finesse. But he has played one game, How do you know, Maybe he’s too good for the minors? He could help a little bit. Won’t be easy without Crosby though

I don't think Pros belong in the Olympics. Sid put Olympic gold over the Stanley Cup. He's paid very well to prioritize the Pittsburgh Penguins and should have taken the time off to get ready for the upcoming push.
Nobody is more hurt that Sid is injured than I am. I'm Canadian, so to see him go down in the quarters and not return, knowing that in the Gold medal game the result of Canada's 5 on 3 WITH Sid would surely have been a goal, and a Gold medal for Canada 🇨🇦 I get the frustration. But to say the Olympics are stupid to have NHL players is ridiculous. That was amazing hockey, period. That is what the players crave for every 4 years. So, it's disappointing, absolutely!
