[Donnie and Dhali] « personnes [are] me disant que les Canucks sont maintenant disposés à déplacer Connor Garland.

>I’ve got more and more people telling me that the Canucks are now open to moving Connor Garland.
>That wasn’t the case for weeks and weeks. Teams were calling on Garland. Canucks really didn’t want to move him, but we’re listening.
>Now, there seems to be a shift, and I’m hearing the Canucks are not against Don moving Garland. So everybody wants a lot of veterans out of here, you know, Garland, Pettersson, Debrusk, Besser. I don’t see all those guys going.
>But definitely here in the Canucks are not against moving Garland, Donnie. So we’ll take a look at that. When it comes to Pettersson, one team told me that they need the Canucks to take back 2.6 to 3 million a year.
>And again, Don.
>OEL gets in the way.
>Yeah. OEL. Can you sign Pettersson for 7, 8 years and then go to the owner a year and a half later and say you got to retain?
>Teams would prefer Pettersson under 10 million. There are teams who think they can get Pedersen to be a 70, 80, 90 point guy. Look, the 100 point guy is gone.
>He’s down to 50. But our team, this tells me there are so many teams weak at center and they are hoping it changes scenery for Pettersson, Don, can bring the old Pettersson back, or somebody that can at least get you 80 points. So look, there’s a lot of things going on with Vancouver right now.
>They’ve convinced him, and I assume it’s Rutherford and Allvin, to rebuild.
>Yeah, exactly.
>I mean, that’s out of the way now.
>Yes.
>I never thought that would happen.
>Bingo.
>So in line with that, maybe it wouldn’t be so outrageous for them to convince Aquilini to retain on a significant amount on Pettersson.
>I just don’t see any team sitting there going, okay, give me 11.6. And by the way, he’s gone from 100 points to 50 points. He’s got six years left.
>Another team told me today that Canucks are looking for young players and draft picks in return for their guys, Don, which is to get as many picks and prospects as you can in the next two, three years, Don, if you’re going to go into a rebuild. So it makes a lot of sense. But I have to be honest with you, I am shocked there are teams that want to take Pettersson on, knowing that the last two years he has struggled the way he has, Don.
>And it amazes me, but it tells you the center ice position in the National Hockey League. There’s a lot of teams that are weak at center, and they’re hoping this guy can get back to his old self, I guess.
Gimme all the picks pls
Bye Felicia.
Why wasn’t that already the case. 🤦♂️
Move his little unproductive MAGA ass to a southern USian team and gimme those picks, baby.
Even we know everyone is for sale if the price is right..
Fu@k Don and Dhali
Play ur cards right and u can definitely get a 1st for him
I think « the shift » is probably the fact we’re 8 days away from the trade deadline and they can no longer increase bids by claiming they aren’t open to moving him. I think the rest of it is window dressing to make today’s D&D program more engaging. People are going to overreact to the window dressing, and ignore the good news that we might *actually* move a veteran before the trade deadline.
Yesssss
