For the price it would cost to acquire him, my expectations would be a lot higher than simply getting us into the second round of the playoffs
Adding Thomas would make us arguably, on paper, the best team in the league. Obviously that’s not how Cups are won, but it’s a start
the divisional tax is gonna be crazy
>Kaprizov (or Boldy for that matter) has never had an offensive 1C to play with
This is V1Ctor Rask erasure and I won’t stand for it!
Can someone explain the benefit of Thomas to me? Not a player I’ve spent much time watching and his baseline stats seem pretty unimpressive for what would be our first line center and a very expensive trade.
I know the blues are not cup contenders and out of the playoffs but why are shopping Thomas? Just to get a good haul while they won’t be competitive? Has 6 years left crazy to think they couldn’t retool around him?
Give me your heart, make it real. Or else forget about it.
While I love the ambition of the post, I don’t see it. I’d believe they’d want to trade Kyrou, Faulk, and others to see what they could build around Thomas first. In other words, they only trade Thomas unless they’re blown away with an offer.
What assets do the Wild have left to trade?
I mean if you need any Thomas I could give it my best shot
Staal was pretty impressive in his 40-goal season. Wasn’t He like 3 goals away from winning the Richard that year? Bouchard was a lot of fun too. Koivu was Koivu. So far, I think Ryan O’Reilly has been the best center in franchise history. Shame he only was a part of the team for a few minutes.
As a blues fan, there is close to zero chance our GM would trade Thomas to a divisional rival unless you massively overpay. I don’t think you guys would be willing to give up what the ask would be.

Is this for real or just fantasy…..
Don’t toy with my emotions like this
