Trade Fox for Austin Mathews… we need a premier center. You can buy a D core. We've seen the best of Fox, and he's delusional for thinking he should of played on that Olympic team. Trade zibanadingdong also, he's NOT a center, he's a wing. Purge all of the malcontent barbecue boys, get them all out of here and start over. If Drury screws up the trocheck trade, I'll join the gang that wants to fire him. The trocheck trade is one of the MOST pivotal moments for this franchise. It could send us backwards for the next 10 years. Analyze who has the best farm team that's a buyer and grab their 2 top prospects. Our scouting and farm team need a complete overhaul. Every player coming up should know the big clubs system before they even step foot on the ice, a plug and play approach. I would love to see Cohen buy the Rangers lol. Analyze who are the best scouts and the best at running their minor team, and buy them ALL! Its not like we dont have the money for these things. And while im on a tangent, BRING BACK HOME WHITES!
Florida has good defensemen but none as good as Fox. If he gets a haul–that could be better for NYR moving forward. As for Bread? Underwhelming, yes. However, Greetree's comparable, by a number of scouts, is Matt Boldy. It is too soon to know–Greentree could Kravtsov-out or not meet potential and be a good third liner. With that said–if the Rangers traded Panarin for Boldy–I would not be sad. For Fox could we get a haul like Misa, Chernyshov, Mukhamadullin–maybe one additional prospect like Ravensbergen and a first? Not impossible. A package similar to this would be a no brainer. Do it. Right?

The rangers outscore their opponents nearly 2:1 at 5v5 with fox on the ice this season, and every other season since he entered the league, including in the playoffs. His career +/- is 120. There are no data points to suggest that any right handed NHL defenseman other than Cale Makar is better. The Rangers will lose an Adam Fox trade regardless of whoever is the GM because the Rangers will never replace him. Trading him would be an absolute disaster and plunge this team into permanent darkness, we are talking Buffalo Sabres level dysfunction.
