    * reached his max skating speed (23.09 mph) of the season against the Calgary Flames on Jan. 17 and ranks in the 96th percentile among defensemen in that category.

    * leads NHL rookies and ranks eighth among defensemen in shots on goal (140; third among Islanders skaters behind Bo Horvat’s 145, Anders Lee’s 144) this season.
    * tied for second among defensemen in both midrange goals (nine) and long-range goals (six), and his three high-danger goals are tied for fourth at the position.
