Agree with giving the waiver pick ups a chance.
Agree with giving more Hartford AHL guys a good look for the rest of the season.
Hard pass on trading trocheck… as the announcer at last night's game noted, every team going through rebuild needs veterans kept to mentor and lead the new players.
A team that drafts very badly and developes even worse trading established players for picks and prospects is a formula for failure. An intelligent start would have been a full review and purge of scouting, drafting, coaching and specialtycoaching at all minor league and staff levels.
And he is probably our fastest skater now

After Friday I want to se them call up Sykora and Scanlin. They have been playing really well in HFD.
So totally agree that trochek is a keeper, need vets to mentor kids, god knows the development staff cant donthe job.
You guys are going to love Kartye (Kar-Tee-Yay) — all heart, all effort. The Kraken didn’t want to lose him but they’re in a bit of a roster crunch. I think they misjudged being able to get him down to the AHL and would have preferred to trade him if he was going to be claimed. All in all, you guys got yourself a good kid

No downside, but Rangers need offensive goal scorers, not 3rd line defensive players. Rangers play waiver wire guys & not prospects in Hartford. Why does anyone want to play for the Rangers? BTW, saw a vid on worst NHL players & Marco was one of them! Rangers will probably trade for him.
