Aujourd’hui, McCarty faisait des dédicaces à Charlie and the Treasure Factory et ma mère a décidé de m’emmener le voir, vraiment excitée par cette introduction au hockey et ce qui m’a fait devenir un fan, c’est mon père qui m’a montré la Fight Night au Joe à l’époque. (en plus d’être local bien sûr)
Je lui ai dit que je teindrais mon menton en rouge lorsque nous recevrions notre prochaine tasse, il l’a raccourci en « Chubes » et m’a dit qu’il me chercherait dans quelques années. LGRW!!

Huge thanks to my mother as well, she’s an extremely hardworking and busy person on top of being one of the strongest minds i know and i’m extremely grateful i get to share this memory with her and little sister 🙂

I met him years ago when he did comedy in some bar in the middle of nowhere with my old man. They used to play poker together and my dad slipped him some Mary Jane. Scared the shit out of me when I found out he did but he was cool about it.

I met him in 98, after a Pearl Jam concert @ The Palace… he was so cool, and super down-to-earth. He hung out well after the show to b.s. with my friends & I about music, hockey, whatever else.
