@Oilers d'Edmonton

  1. luckily we have the tiebreaker over LA, right? +7 RW?

17 goals scored in 3 games with 1 win is insane

Only 4 points ahead of nsh and la and they have 2 games in hand. The worrisome part is that the oilers haven’t proved they can go on any sort of winning streak to make up some ground.

The playoffs are far but a guarantee at this point with their defence and goalie situation

They are actually already out of a playoff spot if you look at points%. They are 9th, and barely ahead of SJ, LA and Nashville.

Looking at their next 5 games, they could just as easily drop into 11th. They are no longer in control of their own destiny. They’ve played more games than everyone in that cluster and look like they have no interest in playing the right way.

  5. Only 1 win in February. Hope March will have a new start

Ease of schedule doesn’t matter if you still leak 5 goals a game to the “easy” teams

People may hate me for saying this but this doesn’t feel like our year at all. Maybe it would be a mixed blessing to miss the playoffs? Maybe passengers will start being useful and bowman would be fired. Wishful thinking I guess.

  8. I should be able to pay off my house betting against this team **if** they make the playoffs lol

  9. SnooOnions5029

Usually we lock in for March and April but they’re cutting it really close this year

  10. behold_the_defiler

This team should not be buyers. Going to look real stupid to trade next years first and miss the playoffs for a 34 year old on an expensive contract

Going 1-2 post-Olympics, and giving up so many goals, it does make one wonder about the player mindset and that inner voice of « WTF, not again. »

SJ and NSH can knocj edm out if they win the games to matxh edm.

Always had silly belief playoffs were a gicen with mcdrai. Guess not

  13. Yikes. Only 4 points ahead and the teams chasing have games in hand

  14. vinnocentzzz

I’m pretending to be okay every game. It’s exhausted. I don’t know if I can do that in the playoffs. 😆

It’s pretty crazy to think Montreal is the best Canadian team right now… like who would have guessed that start of last season?? The rapid decline of Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto is nuts.

Oilers trying their best to join that crew by continuing to employ Stan bowman… but that mcdrai cheat code won’t allow it

  16. GirlyFootyCoach

We are literally in the final wildcard spot right now with games played. We are desperate or like the panthers will be missing the playoffs this season

  17. CatFishBillyheyhey

They better put together a multi game winning streak with no games in hand these guys are going to be golfing in April.

  18. Flesh-Tower

Dude right now we are cruising on loser points. Utah is tied with us at 66 points and they’ve got more wins. We better hussle

  19. Aware_Confidence_408

Need to pickup our pants and show the west up.

  20. BreakerOf_Chains

If both teams with their games in hand we’re not even in the wild card

  21. Zerocool_6687

My god… Pittsburghs schedule tho… they hammered Vegas today so…

    Still that feels rough lol

  22. Geeseareawesome

We do this every year: make it hard on ourselves, turn it up, make the playoffs despite any doubts

  23. > Among the teams chasing Edmonton for a wildcard spot, only Utah faces a tougher stretch to close out the 25–26 season.

I think you’re reading this backwards?

  24. SJS with another win today, now 62 points with 3 games in hand
