Yeah that’s cause Ruff plays him 6 minutes a night and only against the worst possible competition
He’s the go to guy against the Timbits during intermission
Get Timmins healthy and put them together. I’d like to see Metsa get some more minutes but I know that’s hard with the top 4 horses we have.
He’s a great story, was captain of Quinnipiac for their first ever title run in Men’s Hockey. Ended up beating Ryan Johnson and Minnesota for that championship. Ends up Undrafted and signs with the amerks, then he ends up paired with Johnson and they become roommates for road games with the amerks. Now he’s playing minimal minutes in the NHL.
Think he’s done a really nice job filling in all things considered, but he’s on an all time PDO bender (like actually the luckiest player this season in the history of the league), and I really hope we solidify our bottom pair at the deadline.
He’s a great 7, but not sure he should be the answer going into the playoffs.
