Pickford plays in a Mickey mouse league but damn those are silly numbers. Engstrom is the future on the blue line btw.
How is Beck looking in Laval? I have high hopes for him on a bottom 6, is he still projecting as a 3rd line C or it’s more of a 4th line at this point?
I wonder how pickford is valued by other teams, maybe a good sweetener in a deal for Thomas
Is there any way to get a feel for what Pickford projects as once he goes pro? Is reality just going to suplex him or does he have translatable skills and tendencies?

As we’re nearing the end of the season, what do you guys think is next for these fellas?
I think Beck and Davidson are NHL players and likely call ups mid-late next year. Beck is developing as a nice dependable bottom six two-way center and placing him on Danault’s wing could be a good move for him moving forward. Davidson is the archetype annoying fourth line winger (Gallagher replacement if you will) and likely finds himself a spot at some point late next year following injuries. Farrell’s an AHLer, not much else there.
Hage to Laval so he can play big minutes, don’t know if Mesar sticks around *IF* Mooney comes over and even if he doesn’t I’m pretty sure he’s going back to Europe at some point over the next 3 years. Paupa and Sawyer are back with their team to develop and Xhekaj likely gets a crack at the NHL at next year’s camp if Anderson doesn’t show up. Zharovsky’s back to Salavat, don’t think they let their young star get out plus it’s for the better because Alex isn’t as complete as Demidov was.
Montreal has to trade one of Struble, Xhekaj, Carrier or Engstrom this summer cause there’s too many Ds around, Adam’s in the NHL starting next year here or not. As a double overeager I guess Luke gets to Laval on a two-way AHL/ECHL deal as such will Protz, Pickford to play Adam’s minutes on offense which we’re left from Mailloux. David needs to get another 30+ straight games in the AHL before a call up so around the new year I guess.
Fowler to Laval again and Volokhin likely gets a peek in the KHL.
