Was at the game so no instant replay but hot take is this was like a B+ Joey game. They took a lot of very speculative shots and I don’t really remember a true highlight reel save like I’ve seen him pull off so many times. Basically 0% fault for their goal, and he deserves a ton of credit for good positioning and staying locked in, especially in the last 2 minutes or so. Just a really solid game.

Shockingly, as Team Canada learned just over a week ago, the goalie IS- in fact- part of the hockey team and quite valuable if well scouted and trained. Who knew.
