I’m still sad about zegras being moved, but I love Poehling. He works his butt off every time he’s on the ice, and it creates a lot of chances.

If he wants to stay here, give him a contract. He is easily worth double the money he earns right now. But we need to think about moving strome/ and or Harkins. I don’t think sitting them in the press box does anyone any good. Stroke deserves better and if he has no place here we should give him the opportunity to try his luck elsewhere. I don’t think his career is over yet.
I rarely think of Zegras anymore, actually I only think of him when the usual ANA PHI trade comparisons come up. Happy that Poehling has fit in nicely with the team. I think he’s brought in more value to the team with his versatility, instead of one dimensional goal scoring.
Aside from his shootout goal, McTavish has been playing uninspired recently. Mac goes through his usual ups and downs, but with Poehling, he’s always in the game mentally and physically.
My guess is when Strome finally gets traded/bought out, his $$$ will go to Poehls.
I do wonder long term where he slots in because we already have Leo, Mason, Granny, and Washe lined up at center.
Maybe Poehls is 3C and Mason gets shifted to wing?
