    PLD just came back not sure why you’re flaming his quote, specifically. He literally said it didn’t have to do with urgency. They were making bad reads. Sometimes a team outplays you. We missed PLD for far too long. If we had him, we’re in the playoffs. But we didn’t and now we don’t have any cushion and we’re over-analyzing 1-goal game losses to one of the best goal differential teams in the league missing our top right defenseman and Protas.

    Our problem all year was the power play. We didn’t fix it, missed our top center, and now we’re in this mess. I just don’t see the use in getting overly upset about this loss. It’s spilled milk at this point.

    I want to see what happens by the trade deadline. We need a big trade and we need to cut some bait at the same time. Then the push comes, IMO.

    I think maybe they just aren’t that good is the best explanation. Think it’s time for a fast rebuild but are at mercy of whatever Ovi wants.

    From last year we lost Dubois, lose McMichael and Protas incredibly high shooting percentage, a decisive step down offensively from Strome and Ovi, not play one of your best young players in Hendrix enough as he routinely shows to be one of the most effective players, continue playing big D, and we get the situation we deserve to be in.

    The power play has been a problem since game 5 of the SCF.

    Colorado are hilarious too in that theirs is worse but they have been playing like we played in November the whole season.

    It’s incredibly frustrating to watch especially cause I’m in UK and I ruin my next day by staying up late hoping for something to change haha.
