Really liked his game at the Olympics
I mean…Devils definitely aren’t trading him to us.
Looks also like Florida has decided to be sellers and the Thomas trade with Buffalo fell apart.
Exact kind of player we should be taking a chance on but I don’t see him getting trade in the division
Nemec is incredible but what would be even more incredible is the devils actually being willing to trade him to a divisional rival
It’s nice to see young talent go somewhere they can win.
He’s a tough one to nail down. Talent is very clearly there, but he hasn’t put it all together yet in the NHL, in year 3.
I feel like that is one of those “yea you can have him if the offer blows us away” guys, and is going to be a bit overvalued because of his draft pedigree, and looking great on the Olympic stage. Plus the presumable in-division tax.
I would absolutely kick the tires, but venturing the guess it’a more than we should pay.
Moot point because NJ wouldn’t trade him to a division rival, but I don’t really think Nemec would be the move. He projects well and he’s a nice player, but does he slot in as a future 1D? I don’t really think so, probably a complementary piece on your top line at best or a very good 2nd pair guy in his prime.
Like yeah, probably will be a valuable player in his prime, but doesn’t really address what our need is on the back end.
Do it
Are the Devils really going to keep a 32 year old Hamilton over Nemec?
If so, this is the exact kind of buy low trade the Flyers should be doing.
Boy, sure would be nice to be able to trade them TK for a guy who could help us down the line…thanks, NMC Flyers!
How can we turn York into Nemec? Asking for myself, who hates York.
SMDH…What kind of franchise parts with the #2OA pick after just a few seasons.
