Myers traded for a 14 year old
But I want instant gratification I don’t wanna wait til next year for a draft pick… 0/10
Is this good or bad?
2029 pick is always funny because like, that’s a 15 year old. But that makes two 2nds now next draft so obviously it’s good to see the team is prioritizing multiple years of draft picks since everybody except maybe Frankie realizes this ain’t turning around any time soon
Will a 5 storey building do the trick?
I get it, but I’m still sad
Do we have any retention slots for the Kane trade? Since we did also retain on the Mikheyev trade right
On half retained, myers is a great third pair dman. Its also a good return. Stars vs wild is gonna be ex canuck derby
Is next year’s draft stronger? I would have thought Myers especially with 50% retained would have gotten us a 2nd round+ for this years draft
Please retire in the off season and take your rightful spot behind the bench.
Goodbye sweet prince 🦒
As much as we all hated him sometimes, his reception back to Rogers is going to be deafening.
Unironic Canucks legend
Good night sweet prince 👑🦒
Big Tex has returned home

Go win a cup! 🦒🫡
i will miss him he was kinda one of the vets i was hoping we’d keep 🙁 🦒 wish we could trade mpetey instead ngl
I really hoped he would retire as a Canuck. Good luck in Dallas chaos giraffe, go beat Quinn for us.
Traded our Captain, for real this time ;_;
Pretty good return imo. I am glad they got more than one selection as there’s some missing picks for the Canucks in future years. The retention is only one more year, and most of the other contracts left to unload are so long term I don’t want to see them retaining to make the move.
I think that is a tidy bit of business.
Glad we did right by Mysie to at least send him somewhere he has family ties, his mom and stepdad still live in Houston I believe
goodbye topright/bottomlrft myers godspeed. truck quinn in the central like you trucked keith
So basically the Canucks squeezed an extra fourth round pick for the retention.
I hope he will get an ovation during his next game in Vancouver.
Would’ve liked no retention considering we still want to move other pieces that have higher cap hit, depending on how good that ’29 draft is with a fourth rounder on that. But nicely done for a 2nd next year at least.

Farewell
Are we… actually committing to stock up on picks?
Like.. its really happening?
Be sad about Myers leaving, whatever.. but forever and a day this sub (and many fans) has been thirsting for a proper rebuild, and the signs are pointing to it finally FINALLY happening.
Although I will always hold reservations while frankie blueberry dope is the owner, its hard to not feel some hope when we’re making moves like this.
The chaos giraffe era has ended
Really wanted him to stay 🙁 never heard a bad word about him, I think he’d be a great mentor. Ugh. This one will hurt for a while.
Go win the cup, Mysie 🥹😭🥹
Bye bye Mr. Giraffe <3
Thank you for nearly decapitating Duncan Keith.

The fact we are eating cash is a great sign.

More trades, more picks, less Aqua.
(I’ll miss the Chaos Giraffe)
Garlands next. He’s been awful since the Quitt trade. Can’t imagine how insufferable he’ll be now.
Good trade. We get two picks in years where we are likely to still be rebuilding, we only retain 3m over two years, and Myers gets to go to Texas where he has family.
Myers waited till after the Dallas game to move so he didn’t have to face us 🥹🫡🦒
Biggest surprise to me in this is that we traded with Gaglardi’s Stars. I still remember us losing Hamhuis for nothing because we didn’t want to deal with them
Not bad.
