À tous les experts du hockey : cela devrait-il même être autorisé lors d’une fusillade ? 🏒🤔

The wind up, or the play after he gets the puck?

USA Hockey and I’m fairly certain the NHL, both ban windups that start outside the neutral zone. This league probably allows excessive wind ups, considering the officials don’t stop the attempt immediately upon him touching the puck.

After he gets the puck, there is forward momentum the entire time, so no illegal stopping or moving away from the goal.

I think someone is just jealous of the mitts on Kuzy.

What is wrong with the play ? It was last shot to win a game. If he misses – two more shots. Just slow down to speed up the game

I can barely skate and I’d be unstoppable if I could do that

I hate the “that ain’t hockey” crowd… lol okay? What is hockey? It’s a shootout to break a tie.

No – I think a penalty shot should somewhat mirror a breakaway. Just my own preference.

If someone did this in beer league I would call them a douche, but ultimately this is professional hockey and your objective is to score. This seems like a fine way to do that if you’re someone with hands like Kuzy.

Yes. The puck is still moving forward

Of course. Didn’t skate back toward the redline, legal shot. What’s next, want to ban the paralyzer? Matt Hendricks didn’t win us games for this.

Nobody would bitch about it if the goalie stopped the shot.

He skated slow. He deked. What’s the problem:

As long as he didn’t stop fair game? What’s issue?

I believe the rule is, as long as the skater doesn’t stop forward momentum he can puck handle as much as he wants.
