What would be a realistic return from them? Not very familiar with their roster or pick situation

Risto and Brink getting moved out could get us a decent haul.

Whether that be picks or prospects and trading Brink clears way for Martone.

They have a log jam at wing that needs to be solved before next season. Moving Brink would be addition by subtraction. He plays with jam but if someone shows interest you gotta pull the trigger. Getting a second for him or a third and a prospect or something would b e great.

Makes sense. Need a spot in the top 9 for Martone in like a month.

Mich would probably be bumped to pp1 with Brink gone. I’ve been hoping for this.

  6. I’ve been assuming he’d go in a bigger package, but a 2nd + Sam O’Reilly would be palatable.

What Anthony said on the pod make absolute sense. They need to not only move a winger for the future but when Martone joins the team this year

What feels weird about this is the Lightning literally have Bobby Brink at home…Pelletier is on their AHL team and leads the league in points. If you want an undersized quick 3rd line winger for cheap then they literally have him already

Hoping it’s a package with Risto or Tipp because Brink is really only worth a 2nd which… sucks since he is young but really is a 3rd line guy at best on a good team.

I like O’Reilly or Geekie. Could be a good return

  11. Would be very surprised to see him traded before the offseason

Don’t like this idea myself. Bobby Brink is an all-situations middle-six winger who will have a fifteen-year career in the NHL. He’s already far exceeded his early-2nd draft position.

I’d begrudgingly approve of one of these returns:

    * A first-round pick likely to be in the 12-18 range (Seattle, Detroit, someone like that)
    * An intriguing, established prospect at a position of greater need
    * Part of a bigger deal bringing back a top-line player

Otherwise, trading young, developing drafted players does not match the organization’s goals for rebuilding.

Looking at Tampa’s roster, they’ve got a spot open at 2RW. Bjorkstrand has been playing at 3RW most of the season. Brink makes a ton of sense when you consider their limitations cap space wise.
