@Canucks de Vancouver

I think its more getting rid of mangiapane. But yea not a good trade in hindsight

  2. RashfordMBE

Oilers are paying a 1st to get rid of Mang not to acquire Dickinson

  3. _GregTheGreat_

The Dickinson move was a failure, but let’s not pretend that eating Mangiapanes cap dump *and* giving up a prospect isn’t what boosted things to a 1st.

Side note but that’s good tidings for a Blueger trade

  4. One-Airport-497

The medical staff lost his file but deemed him healthy.

  5. tambama

I find it really hard to get upset about moves made in 2022 when it’s currently 2026.

  6. GenerationEh

We have the greatest veterinarians in the pacific, thank you.

  7. NerdPunch

Jason Dickinson has played 549 regular season games and has 1 season with >10 goals.

This season he has less than 1/2 as many points as Evander Kane, and 1 more point than MPetey.

That deal was more about dumping Mangiapane than it is about Jason Dickinson having value.

  8. Chemical_Desk_5314

    They’re paying a first for a 4C when Blueger is right there…

At this point, I’m just praying that Bettman recommended Rutherford to Aqua as an inside job to fuck up the Canucks so much that it forces Aqua to sell, because all the other owners hate him too.

Hey remember whwn he was absolute trash and everyone was happy he was gone even at the cost?

  11. JTMilleriswortha1st

Dude has 13 pts in 47 games Idgaf

  12. Drab_Majesty

Blackhawks gonna really rub it in and also get a pick for Mikheyev after our brains trust offloaded a second round pick while retaining salary to get rid of him.

Yeah let them handle the rebuild, what could go wrong?

  13. eexxiitt

Sending a positive, good, asset just to undo a bad decision that bowman himself made. One step forward, 2 steps back. That sounds very familiar.

  14. TheSimonToUrGarfunkl

This is what we need to start doing. Get some veteran players who are at their lowest value or have slightly inflated contracts for nothing or with something and build the value back up. We need to take advantage of teams looking for cap space.

  15. EverySecondCountss

That was this management? Wow they really have been atrocious. I totally forgot about this. So embarrassing, they should have lost their jobs over this ALONE.

Blackhawks are hitting a lot of home runs for picks.

  16. KingInTheFarNorth

2022 was a long time ago, he’s signed a new (bigger) contract since then.

The crazy thing is Bowman paying a first round pick to ditch a contract he signed just last summer. That’s right out of the Ruthervin school of incompetent GMing.

That ‘27 Oilers pick is what I would’ve wanted in a Debrusk trade.

Can we trade our medical staff yet?

  18. Count-to-3

Dickinson was terrible on the Canucks. Not management’s fault he was literally worthless while we actually had a solid roster

  19. niht_awl

our medical staff has been shit since the WCE era

  20. an3vilmonk3y

Jesus man this sub and its revisionist mental gymnastics to shit on the current punching bag(s) is something else.

  21. UncleDingDongg

So why aren’t the Canucks utilizing their cap space to take on bad contracts…..maybe they will run out of time

  22. carry-on_replacement

Can we get the Blackhawks GM instead of Rutherford’s puppet?

I just found a picture of Patrick and Jim 😂😂😂

  24. TheTiger1988

He’ll be a good shut down player for Edm in playoffs. Stability on the PK and ice time protecting those tight leads.

  25. raistlin1022

« helped » doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Thats bad faith lazy reporting. I dont fault management on Dickinson, that one was all on the medical staff.

  26. Jyeon89

Mangiapone has a NTC this year. Even if the Canucks were in on that trade, he probably declines coming here

  27. debotch

Why were we mad a Dickinson again?
    Chytil hit??

  28. EP40glazer

Dumping Mangiapane was the main source of the first.
