Honestly one of the more exciting games I’ve been too. Winning back to back games is a nice change of pace.
I laugh thinking about the casual fan who tuned in to a national broadcast to watch golden goal scorer Jack Hughes. It’s time for the shoot out and they probably anticipate Hughes out there first and out comes.. Paul Cotter lol. Only the real ones know..
Just realized this may be the last time we see a couple of these players in Devils jerseys
I think this season will go down as one of the most bewildering ones I’ve seen as a Devils fan.
They come out of the gate flying with an eight-game winning streak, then they completely crater and look like the Devils during the decade of darkness, only to come out of the Olympic break looking more like the fast-paced team that dominated the 22-23 season.
As an aside, I don’t think people are talking enough about Gritsyuk’s hockey IQ. He sees the ice so well and is terrific with his positioning and stick work. That setup for Brown on the tying goal was a gorgeous pass and he got it through like three different people.
