Considering two of those first rounds are from Ottawa and the Rangers likely means that they will in the mid to late 30s. Sucks that we couldn’t keep him but at least this shows an actual direction. Remember fellas the real prize isn’t the return, but the elite prospect they get from drafting early.

Interesting none of Weegar's 6.2 million dollar cap hit got retained👀 With only one retention slot left, they could be saving for a Kadri or Coleman move.

For those saying we needed a first in this trade, remember one of Utahs 2nds is the Rangers pick which will most likely be a very high second, only a few picks difference from a very low first. I love the trade. I am equally sad to see Mack go. He was an awesome soldier and leader. Go Flames!!
