The problem with NTC’s is it makes the player “too comfortable.” I’m not saying Colton takes off plays, but it can take an edge off a player if he knows that , even if he’s struggling, there’s no chance he’s being traded to Vancouver to “shake the club house up !”

As a sabres fan I'm glad he blocked it. We have bigger needs with someone younger.
What if the sabres leaked it to show its hard to make a trade to buffalo? What if blues used the no trade clause to give extra time to make a bigger trade?

Parayko should have NEVER been put up fora trade. His ties here in St. Louis are very deep. I’m so glad he declined. He should retire a Blue.
I'm glad he's staying I've always loved Colton and he's not a stat guy he's an action man he does what he needs to do that's what we need to run the defense and to teach them what to do and how to handle things and help them grow I'm glad he's staying he's a good player and seems like a very good person so as long as he's happy I'm happy as long as he's it's been a long time since we had loyalty like that
Mrtka will be a top pair dmen if properly developed. Sabres were lucky for this trade being nixed.
It was an overpay! Sabres could have improved. But the cost was to much! 😊
