    People need to remember, you have to think like it’s still 2022… we have Hischier, Hughes, still had McLeod, plus Mercer as a backup center. We didn’t need another center, therefore we weren’t going to draft Cooley. You can’t blame Fitz for taking the best defenseman on the board (Hutson in the 2nd or 3rd round is an anomaly).

    Don’t worry though, we signed Kovacevic to a 20 year NTC instead.

    If we lose Nemec, TF should be fired the same day. It’s only speculation currently, but it should still happen.

    Listen I’ll preface this with the steadfast opinion that I do not want to trade Nemec. That’s not what im saying. Nemec is great and will continue to get even greater. BUT, for pure conjecture, and since the top insider in the league is mentioning Nemec, he also mentioned Knies in the same article. Not that hes for sure on the market, just that he was wondering if they could be convinced to move him.

    So with all that said, a Knies for Nemec swap would be something I could wrap my head around
