Man, just enjoy the drama over in the hockey sub over two teams that aren’t ours. No need to bring Tom into this. Rent free in some of our fans’ heads also, I guess lol.
I called this out to a Penguins fan who is a friend of mine and the first thing that he did was justify it due to getting screwed out of a goal because of an interference call and being frustrated. Lol.
Does Wilson deserve some of the ire he gets from most of the league? Sure. I think a lot of it is blown out of proportion. I do own five different Wilson sweaters and have Wilson themed license plates in my truck so maybe I’m a little biased. But the sanctimonious and clutching of pearls from all the other teams pissed me off more than anything else.

There was a player’s poll years ago in which Malkin was voted the dirtiest players in the league. Players complained that he got away with a lot of vicious stick work when the refs weren’t looking.
Not every disciplinary event needs to be re-framed into a Tom Wilson context. Who cares about random ifs or buts? What if Tom Wilson made this trip? What if it was Tom Wilson who stole my car? What if it was Tom Wilson who bombed Iran?
