What does that mean, they get a 27th pick? They have to pick a good player at that point in order for this to work for them.
Robbed? It’s 2027. I get it’s an asset and a good one depending how it’s used.
This is a good time for Mathews to get the surgery he needs on his wrist. Max out his recovery time, tank the season and be ready for next season. This upcoming draft is considered to be deep so most teams will not be giving up high draft picks.

While yes its a good trade its far from a robbery. You cant predict draft picks.
in 2027 it really helps next year – I think Roy was not given a fair chance given the line up – on the flip side he`s not done a lot for this team this year.

to land a top 10 protected pick in draft means exactly that a top 10 player that gets drafted is an absolute steal, avs coulda kept the 5th
