This was a tough decision for what he has meant to the franchise but when you consider the return we are getting for a 36yo defenseman on an expiring contract I believe its the correct one even though it is an incredibly difficult one.

This one hurts. I didn’t watch hockey growing up, but when I did, JC74 made me love being a caps fan. My first caps sweater.
