    You still have to win 4 series regardless on who you face. That said the top 3 in div + 2wc for playoffs qualification is ok but then reseeding 1-8 should be the natural thing to do.

    The *only* reason I won’t sign this is it has ZERO impact. Even if you got the entire fanbase of the nhl to sign this petition, it wouldn’t mean anything as it isn’t binding in any way. The only way something like this happens is a lockout or a total boycott, both of which aren’t happening.
