I wonder what team tank will whine about now. Probably giving up a forth in the trade. They are never happy

TBH my conspiracy theory is that if we’re publicly calling it a rebuild at this point, it probably means that we’ve been *quietly* rebuilding for the last year~ish. I don’t think that casual audiences like to watch rebuilding teams, so it’s in their best interest to attach the rebuild label to the team for as short a period of time as possible

Rebuild now so you’re ready for The Fireplace. Can’t go into a new barn without a winning team.

Surprised that they gave all their strongest players to teams that will keep them down for another 10 years. I am sad to see Calgary had to go into such a deep rebuild.

Been saying this for a while now, the whole not saying rebuild is no different than Vince McMahon’s weird obsession with WWE not saying hospital, but instead saying local medical facility, or not saying belt and going with Championship or Title instead.

A few years ago this should have been started

Notice how he doesn’t say win a cup, because he knows Edwards just wants to make the playoffs every year and never spend enough to win.

New arena, new young team, and with Stenberg drafted (I want him not McKenna), we’re going to be in a great spot.
