  1. If Conroy can convince Flames ownership to do this, maybe he can convince them to sell the team to someone who can afford to run it properly…

  2. Dowd gets a 2nd and 3rd with similar stats except Laughton is a lot better in the faceoff circle. Trev is a clown, that's why the flames have been terrible for a longtime.

  3. The amount of laughing at a rebuilding Calgary team being bad… Coming from fans of a Leafs team that was supposed to be a contender with 3 more wins than Calgary.

    Embarassing to say the least😂

  4. The Maple Leafs are the only team that have been considered Contenders in the last 9 years or so to mortgage the future, and the present, and have two playoff series wins to show for it. Teams that win the Stanley Cup have something the Leafs do not…Heart.

YOU PLAY HOCKEY WITH RAW GRIT, HEART AND PASSION. IT NEEDS TO BE A TOTAL ALL IN FROM SUPERSTAR TO 4TH LINER.

  5. 2:00 Even the most dominant team in recent memory, the 2025 panthers, could be argued to have had a worse center lineup, since Nick Roy is better than any of the panthers 4th line center options. Nick Roy is a 3rd line center and could easily be a second line center, same thing for Kadri, and MacKinnon and Nelson are obviously both capable of first lining. So basically they have 2 first line centers and 2 second line centers. The best thing about the aves centers is that they are all good at the most important skill a center can have, winning faceoffs. McDavids biggest issue is that he lacks this skill. Part of the reason we have so many amazing zone entry clips by mcdavid is because of this lol. And on top of those four they also have Landeskog and Drury who are also faceoff animals. I think consistent faceoff wins is one of the most underrated factors in the NHL. So many potential plays are dead in the water without one, and consistent zone pressure can be instantly negated by an opponent icing that then leads to a faceoff loss.

  6. 5:04 guys on puck pedia what are the little rectangles under everyone’s names. Like why does Makar have 2 fully filled in, then Necas has like 8 but 7 are greyed out? What do they mean?

  7. 6:26 his game dipped because he was on the flames bro. He was literally the leading points scorer on the team. I just feel so god damn bad for Olafsson

  8. 7:15 wtf are you talking about? If the aves win the division which they probably will they won’t face Minnesota OR Dallas in the first round.

  9. if avs were an older team no drafts might hurt us but we aint , were on the young side so 2-3 years with no picks is fine for a chance to win 2-3 more cups in 5-7 years , florida and tampa both proved its pretty hard to go 3 straight finals nm 3 straight cups . florida missing this year will probly be good for them , id imagine next year they are gonna be trouble in the east blowing threw everyone ,and oilers are losing to vegas or the ducks in 5 in round 1 🙂

  10. I think the Avs have looked at the next few drafts and gone "where we expect to draft, we don't expect the value….so F it!!!" Cannot blame them for that to be honest. Kadri coming back is amazing! as he has that kind of attitude that can push you to a cup.

  11. As a flames fan Adam is absolutely right
We are so relieved to finally be headed in the right direction
    Love Kadri
Love Weegar amazing guys and players wish them well
Conroy knows what he’s doing and we love it

  12. Jesse… NO. Kadri's game has not dipped. He scored 35 goals last year on a team that CAN'T SCORE. So, no. He'll be just fine with all that open ice provided by his otherworldly teammates.

  13. Sad ppl in Calgary make up stuff on Kadri cause he's Muslim he would have happily stayed in Calgary

  14. Kadri is all class, deserves to win the Cup. As a Flames fan I'm cheering for Colorado, please destroy Edmonton.

  15. This is just like what Bobby Holik once told Jeff Marek. “If Bobby Holik is your third line center, you’re going to win the Stanley Cup. If Bobby Holik is your first line center, you’re in trouble.”

  16. Drury wasn't very good at 3C-but is a proven great to elite 4C. He will be our 4C for now. Sure there will be some crossover,& experimentation. But Roy is mostly moving to 3rd line wing when we are healthy & will also be the best insurance 5C in the NHL.

And he's signed next year while Drury is RFA,& has turned down some offers. So he could get moved this summer but Roy is more natural at wing than Drury I think is the thinking. And Drury was so great analytically last year at 4C.
