The curse we broke was to actually protect a fucking one goal lead

  2. Old_General_6741

They haven’t won in LA since 2019.

We looked like shit for most of that game too but we have the ability to score in bunches.

We broke two curses this season, in Carolina and in LA. We almost broke a third one in Minnesota.

We were dominated, but for a few fantastic shifts, and some quality rookie goaltending.

God it feels good to break a losing streak like that.

The worst part of this is that 2019 was 7 years ago.

Last time we beat the Kings it was Suzuki’s 17th NHL game. Tonight was his 517th.

7 years sounds long, but when you put it in context that it’s only a total of 9 games, it’s not as bad.

That was an intense 3rd period.

That’s cause they don’t want the Kings to make the playoffs

Anze Kopitar scored in that game, too.

Shea Weber had a pair and Nate Thompson scored as well. Carey Price made 31 saves because that’s what he did. Jonathan Quick made 34 saves because that’s what he did.

Does this Domino effect into the Kings beating the Oilers?

Very frustrating game for us. Habs are exciting with a great future.
