The Buffalo stat surprised me the most.

They’ve drafted 31 players currently in the NHL, the most in the league but they aren’t playing there.

Chicago is right behind with 30, but they’ve kept over half of them, which is why they have the highest homegrown roster.

NYR being 4th in Homegrown players??? Tf? How???

Being a Ducks fan, it would seem we are high as we are because it seems to me every team has had or has an ex Duck on it.

  4. It does not surprise me one bit to see that the Canucks are so low lmao

Dang… Is it really just Landeskog, MacKinnon, and Cale for us?

I guess there’s also Malinski, who was undrafted, but he’s only played for the Avs. Same with Logan O’Connor, although he’s been out this season.

Has Minnesota really traded that many players with Abbotsford, or are you just using them for Vancouver’s logo?

I see a lot of contending teams and expansion teams near the bottom. But get your shit together Vancouver.

I think the 3 remaining thrashers are Kane, Bogosian, and Chiarot right?

Interesting that the 5 teams with least homegrown players are infinitely better than the 5 teams with the most homegrown players

This list is already wrong because the Utah franchise drafted Josh Doan, so he should count towards them.

I can’t even tell what I’m looking at

Chicago makes sense because of how young the team is

That ratio is higher than I would have thought.

Kind of surprised the Avs > Blue Jackets connection isn’t as strong. It seems like every year we have one or two former players from that org in our system. The Bednar and MacFarland connection is still going strong.

Great graphic, if only I could read it lol
