I still don’t think the team nor the fans should stress over the Boston pick. It is what it is. The trade was made abs you have to accept the possibility that the pick ends up 6-10 overall (lottery notwithstanding). I’d prefer that Boston gets that pick this year, than having to deal with this scenario all over again, unprotected, in the future.
When you decide to trade a first rounder, you have to assume the risk that it can become the worst case scenario. It’s an awful trade in hindsight, but we gotta move on lol.
