What am I missing from Kane? It didn’t look like he did a damn thing out there but turn the puck over

Faulk had a couple bad passes/giveaways in the neutral zone which I assume brings his metrics down, but he was solid in the defensive zone and wasn’t afraid to rush the puck. I assume at least some of the sloppiness is playing in a new system and not being used to his teammates tendencies and positioning.

I don’t trust this. Aljo had a great game and Kane had a bad game 2 assists be damned

I know this game score card isn’t the eye test. But Kane impacted the game positively and that’s fantastic. As long as he keeps producing, that’s good. Sometimes it looks like he’s lost a step and a half.. just compared to watching him in Detroit year 1 to now(even after first coming back from hip surgery). That crash into the boards earlier this year seemed to shatter his confidence at going high speed anymore. Maybe he realizes he’s one bad crash from it all ending and he wants to prolong his career as long as possible. I know he absolutely loves the game and has that photographic memory of every single goal he’s scored, which in itself is superhuman. I can’t wait to see him in playoffs, I imagine he’ll shift into another gear. After all, he’s the 2nd fastest skater on our team according to EDGE stats.

Kane the whole game 🤣

This is where I struggle with these. I thought AlJo was fantastic last night, specifically on the PK blocking passes and shots.
Faulk was steady for the most part, made a beautiful pass that Rasmussen shot into the goalies chest on a breakaway…
I also thought the Ray-Ghost-Finnie line was really strong on the forecheck and possession in the offensive zone.
My eye definitely does not match this at all, I feel like a boomer not understanding how these analytics make sense

This is the best team they have had since the rebuild began to me. They may not be serious contenders yet, but they are much improved. A few more good adds and some playoff experience and they will be ready.
Not all the needed adds need to come from trades either. Prospects like Cossa, Danielson, Anton, Genborg, Bear etc. could fill a couple roles and some may be traded to fill others. Plus some of the youth will get better. They are not that far away now.

Can someone explain how to read the components of this graph? I understand right = good left = bad but what to the different items actually mean
Who does perron take out of the lineup? Shine?
