    If finnie and kasper can play pk, then sit Rasmussen. Id rather play compher at center thannhim and Rasmussen only brings pk duty. He's soft, at least Nygaard hits people.

    When Perron goes on the roster we will have 11 players on the roster that are not part of the core. But sure let's trade draft picks.

    If MBN is playing very well when the time comes I would put him on the top line over Finne

    He may go back down but I was so damned happy to see Shine finally get his first NHL goal. The look on his face as he came around the net was the look of a man fulfilling his childhood dream after so many years of grinding. Made my whole weekend.

    The way teams stifle speed coming into O zone you have to pick to get in at times.speed only is useful on break aways and Larkin isn't my favorite to score on a break away .

    Honestly, Kane and Cat have gone stale lately and i thought Cat and Raymond looked great together a few games ago. Also putting MBN (or Perron who have pace issues more with his skating) would have a bit less responsibility then being on the 1st. I like to keep Finnie and Kasper together and Appleton looked pretty solid to compliment then aswell. But if MBN is gonna stay, it will bump Appleton down… Ras or Compher makes no real diffrence to me on the 4th line, both are "jerseys". JvR atleast wakes up every 5-10 games to do SOMETHING so he is a given at this point. Anyways, my two cents…

    I’d love to see them at least try MBN on the left wing 1st line. I think he’ll live on the 3rd line right wing with Kasper and Perron. That sounds like a really good line. And I think having Perron with those kids will help them tremendously.

    Appleton – Larkin – Raymond
    DeBrincat – Copp – Kane
    Finnie – Kasper – MBN
    VanRiemsdyk – Compher – Perron

    I thought Appleton looked good playing on the 1st line early in the season when Raymond was injured, and he's fast enough to play with both of them.

    it frustrates me that nobody talks about how crucial it is that kasper gets as much time at center as possible. he IS our future 2C. there’s nothing else. maybe even 1C way down the line. burying him in the lineup on wing so that “rasmussen” can pretend he’s a center for the 8th year in a row is just negligence

    Too many talents has been left in Griffins to rot over the rebuild years and now we have to relay on the geriatric players that plugged up the rebuild.

    I was at the Florida Panthers game and they didn't look too bad. The Puck just didn't go in the net. They had an excellent series when they went from being five on 3 to 5 on four and skated well, a few minutes after that gibson looked great in net. The puck just didn't go in credit to florida's goaltender for playing a good game

    Ras has 1 point in 20 games — guy is 6' 6" 222 lbs listed and wants to think he's a "skill" guy poking the puck around and never hitting anyone — this guy is so useless. I have no idea how he is still on this roster he provides absolutely nothing. MBN needs to stay in the lineup and this guy needs to go straight to the press box. How are you going to be 6' 6" and just float around and not hit anyone ever?

    MBN was called up under emergency conditions. I thought he had to go back down once Larkin is back?

    It would be crazy not to at least try MBN with Raymond and Larkin if they are going to keep those two together.

    Roster is too soft to win when it matters. Kane looks one hit away from retirement. Until Yzerman gets fired this team has no hope. The wings will go 0-3 in there next three games. Both deadline trades were a mistake. Soderbloom will get 20 goals with Pittsburg next year. This team will miss the playoffs again. You guys can't accept what this team really is. SOFT.
