I can’t wait to see him as a Blackhawk!

EDIT: I love this play for him, recognizing the Center is driving to the net so he drifts right into the soft area between all 4 defenders in the high slot.
Reminds me of a vid Cam Robinson did where he was raving about Frondell’s strength on the backhand.
Holy fuck what a backhander, from almost the top of the dot
I don’t think we’ve given Frondell quite enough love for his season in the SHL – he’s been a dominant goalscorer despite this being a very tough league and him not even turning 19 until the first week of May!
Anton is now up to 18G, 25P in 41GP while he’s been bounced all around the lineup the whole season. His goal total is the highest by an 18-year-old in the SHL since Daniel Sedin put up 21 in 1999 (50GP) and is the 4th highest total of all time. His point total is less historically impressive but I think it’s noteworthy that he’s now tied Leo Carlsson’s point total from 2023 when he was the same age (44GP).
As we may need to temper expectations and hype around Kantserov’s KHL records for his age due to that league having deteriorated in quality lately, mostly due to talent fleeing after the onset of the Ukraine war in early 2022, I think the opposite may be true for Frondell’s current performance. Tons of talent has been jumping over to the SHL lately and it’s arguably the 3rd best league in the world now – what the kid has done in the context of this current league is pretty nutty lol
Nice goal. How has Frondell been the second half of the season? I remember reading about his strong start and then a demotion to the third line which affected his output, but haven’t seen an assessment here on him in a bit.
Frondell please come to Chicago
The backhand shot is so underdeveloped in North America. Nazar is our best backhanded scorer right now on the hawks. Second is Crevier
All goalies say the back hand shot is the most difficult to read where it’s going

Need him to be heavy on the forecheck and keep pick possession. If he can do that, that top line can produce more.
I’ve started tagging certain people on this sub as « Kyle From Chicago Hater ». I’m not sure how many but it’s probably between 10-20 and growing.
I can tell you I’ve yet to see one show up in the prospect highlight, spotlight, check-in threads. Which is odd cause they are usually sooooo concerned about OUR future.
Cheering against Djurgårdens!
