Goals against us have felt cosmically unlucky recently, and the goals for seem cosmically impossible to come by
it’s almost like they are trying to get the coach fired. it’s just shocking how bad our puck management is for such a good team
So would you guys say the biggest mistakes management has made with VGK has been fumbling the Cody Glass/Nick Suzuki and Aiden Hill/Logan Thompson trades? I really can’t think of any bigger fuck ups than these 2. I don’t think even the fleury trade comes to this egregious fuck up.
Most of the time they are great at evaluating talent but man when it comes to drafting and developing talent they really suck.
Does anyone know what Pete Deobor is up to right now? he is not in the NHL at the moment now is he?

Really is just a continuation of the theme that we cannot score off in-zone offense. All transition chances and once those get defended out, we can’t score.

Oettinger makes the save with a similar shot that Hill faced against Blackwell. Except he wasn’t sliding off the planet and also got the subsequent rebound on Smith. Imagine that. 😑

Watching this team is genuine pain right now (and it has been). It just sucks because what even is wrong with them? Is it only a goalie issue? Surely they should have the personnel and talent even with injuries to play well against non playoff teams?
And then theres the fact that we’ve only won like 6 games all year against playoff teams. What a headache.

At some point I would like for the team to have >0.900 save% when we limit teams to less than 20 shots.
Given our inability to score, this is the only way for us to win, one of the goalies putting in over time.
