Hearing it while watching the game felt like nature was finally healing.

I’m not trolling or trying to be that guy but…… isnt this a little outdated? The “ooh, ah” part. Can this be changed to like “let’s, go. Sabres on the warpath” or something? Kinda reminds me of the oooh oooh oooh Braves chop thing.

I feel like it’s a bit disrespectful to the local native population, idk.

EDIT: Fuck this thread, the rabble has spoken. I’m gonna go outside and touch grass. This is what I get for attempting to be thoughtful.

Hockey culture sucks, I bet everyone in this thread cannot skate and wears #99 goathead jerseys with their own last name on the nameplate.

Nice to see the arena alive again

Go outside and play my dude, for fucks sake. You say you’re not trying to be that guy, but guess what?? You’re being that guy, and you know it.

The rest of us are gonna enjoy some success and join the fucking warpath.

    Fuck outta here…

I tried chanting along in the crowd, but the realization that I was at a Sabres game chanting “Ooh Ahh, Sabres On The Warpath!” unironically as the team won their 8th in a row to widen their Atlantic Division lead in March overwhelmed me and I almost started bawling lmao

I was at a playoff game win in 06/07 and the war path chant erupted while we were leaving and evolved into an impromptu parade down the streets of Buffalo. I still get chills about thinking about it.

Thus is so funny that this generation of fans has had such little success to celebrate that theyre bringing back chants from the 70s! It’s amazing. We didn’t even chant this during the late 90s or mid 2000s.

  8. Ty for posting this. I couldn’t tell what they were chanting through my $5 Amazon basics headphones lol

“And what happened, then? Well, in Pominville they say – that the Grinch’s small heart grew three sizes that day »

If I’m Joe Brady I’m just sending these clips to the group chat daily.
