they were fresh off a truly insipid performance in Calgary. they looked like a team that was still in the tank years and I was contemplating yet another rebuild and a future without Tage. if you had been a time traveler and told me what the Sabres would’ve accomplished since then I wouldn’t have believed you.

I live in Seattle and have seen the boys each time they’ve been here and several times in Vancouver in the pre-Kraken era. I wasn’t going to go see them this year because of that Calgary game. Then they beat Edmonton and Vancouver, which convinced me to go watch them beat the Kraken.
It felt like they were better than their record, but I never imagined they’d be this good.
