    I will always have a place for Yzerman the player but as a GM it’s just time to get a fresh set of eyes on this roster.

    This team he’s built is extremely difficult to watch. When you watch there’s nobody that dominates the puck the way stars in the NHL do. It’s a very mediocre, 7 years on.

    It’s time.

    I’m sure I’ll get blasted but I think my position is reasonable all things considered.
