The Sabres played back to back just as Tampa did.

Not only had Buffalo played the night before too…but the last time they played in Tampa…Tampa was catching Buffalo having played the night before with them resting. Buffalo won 6-2 and chased Vasilevskiy early in the second.

3 games played vs TB. 5 points for, 2 points for TB. Sabres also played the night before as well . Then a game vs a SJ team fighting for a playoff spot who tried to be phyiscal and the Sabres came out with a 6-3 win. Emotions are in check, one game at a time, ol' timey hockey.
