I forget all the rules, can he go to the AHL?
IIRC when Okposo left Minnesota he played 9 games with the big squad and then played for Bridgeport in the playoffs.
That’s my only frame of reference here.

Exciting. Some scouts seem to really rate this guy and others hate him haha. Either way we’ll find out. The good thing about Roy is he is willing to play younger players, even if hard on them (I feel like Barry/Lane did it begrudgingly).
Would be great if this kid could make the team one day, even as a 3rd/4th line center. 6’3 with high motor and defensively responsible from what I hear. Pretty sure he was a defenseman for most of his life and then transitioned into a center when he joined the US development team
I’m higher on Finley then on Nelson. I do hope they sign both though. Worth shots and Bridgeport/Hamilton/wherever they will be need some legit prospects on the team.
My only worry with Nelson as far as signing is concerned is that his younger brother is going to ND in the fall, and he may want to go back to play with him (their older brother is on the team as well).
Sucks his team guy eliminated but it would be cool to see him join us for a few games this season
