He played 27 minutes tonight. Not surprising since they spent a ton of time on the PP but it’s a lot for an 18 year old

wish these kind of stats also made it to r/hockey. kinda wanna brag about this kid to literally anyone, lol

I’m going to be contrarian and say take a look at Cal Ritchie. I am unfamiliar with his overall trend line, but most of the games I catch (about 3 out of every 5), he seldom looks like a passenger out there.

Of course Schaefer is a monster 🙂

I can’t believe how lucky we got with Schaefer

Schaefer. This is Denis Potvin level stuff. That guy also made a major impact immediately.

I’m starting to think this Schaefer kid was a good pick.

Schaefer is obviously amazing but Ritchie has been looking good this season and continues to get better. It seems we got a solid top6 center for Brock which is fucking awesome. Also I hope the Schenn haters chill because he looked very good last night.

possibly Deangelo’s worst game where he didn’t actively put the puck in his own net

He was on a heater before the Olympic break too

Out of all of these – Holmstrom had the clunkiest night, made some errors we don’t expect

  10. Cal Ritchie was awesome, he’s going to be a very important piece to our future

This is unbelievable! Where did you get this? Is it available to the public?

Cal Richie seems to be the only player we have that knows that when on the power play the puck needs to be moved quickly! He made the same exact play from the goal line to Duclair a few weeks ago! He is really putting things together and you can see him getting more confident in his game. Schenn will be a tremendous asset for his development!
