I think calling up a surplus of hungry, gritty vets (in some cases) is a big « we’re sending in the cavalry, it’s a full team effort » mentality. Shows the room management hasn’t given up. Gives the guys some momentum.
I bet/hope they’re beating the « best guys get to play » drum. No more jerseys. That will push everyone to be at their best, finish checks, do every little thing right.
If ever there was a time and a lineup composition to complement a Dan Campbell speech or two, this is it. Facetime him in, and have him in the room when you’re back at LCA.
