@Red Wings de Détroit

    Red Shouldered Hawks are native to MI as well.

    No idea but I vote number 2. He doesn’t live in the UK (actually one of them do) but he looks like the best stick handler and skater.

    The one that looks like a car tire

    It actually refers to a cycling/multi-sport club in Montreal that James Norris was a part of. The logo itself was modified a bit to look more like a car tire than a bicycle tire.

  7. Wait a minute, that last guy has black wings!

    Definitely not the red-winged black bird, because those tend to show up in March

    The name actually comes from the Montreal Winged Wheelers. Their logo was a bike tire with wings. James Norris played senior aaa with them. When he bought the Detroit Falcons he changed the name to the Red Wings because they wore red, and replaced the bike tire with a car tire.

    Not much love for the cardinal so far. That’s my choice. They stick around in winter and can be a nice bright spot on some dreary winter days. They also have a nice little chirp which also applies to hockey.

    It’s the Red Crossbill or the Pine Grosbeak for me!

    To my knowledge, « Red Wings » is actually an homage to their previous team name the « Red Falcons ». The logo was inspired by the auto industry and the original club hockey team out of Montreal who were known as the « Winged Wheelers. »

    Man, I never expected to have a viscerally negative reaction to something like this but here we are lol

    Well, cardinals are pretty much everywhere and the last bird doesn’t have red wings. But I’m not an expert in bird law, so take it with a grain of salt.

    Is there a shit bird? Because I’d pick the bird that shits everywhere. On your face. And you keep coming back to have it shit on your face again. And then you tell your friends you’re over this bird but then behind closed doors you get on all fours. Bend over. And have the bird shit on you again. And again. And again.

    Shit birds.

    People yapping that it’s actually for the winged wheel… that’s not the point stupid pick a bird! We know it’s a wheel but birds are cool, the post says “should” not “does” I’m convinced half of yall are so dumb
