First of all if the NHL can get rid of hooking, holding, clutching and grabbing then I think they can get rid of dirty hits and the players that throw them. Sorry but 5 games or the little mentioned below or above that as what the guy should get is just not good enough. The NHL should be ripped to shreds right now and until they change their ways with this. I personally think if it can be shown to be absolutely 100% intentional throw them out of the league. Enough with the woke soft touch with everything. Now if you don't like that then how about a 3 strikes and you are out system. First suspension would be 27. Second suspension would be 54. Third you are done in the NHL. Period. No crying as I will drink your tears as I watch you pack your bags.
Second thing I got to talk about is the regulars on the show and guests need to stop flip flopping. I think this is another example of woke damage to the sports media. Stick with what you believe to be right and stop trying to make an argument for the other side when it should no longer be made. This Leafs team has no excuse for what happened last game and I would have many years ago blown this up because I knew they were not going to get the end result one should want when in the NHL and that is winning the Stanley Cup. ** this roster. Third thing I got to say is nothing any of you brought up which is the question that is should Auston Matthews even want to return to this team next year? I say no! Who cares about two seasons from now. Let us talk next season. After dealing with the idiocy from Canadians about going to the White House and then having his teammates not be there for him after getting blown up by Gudas I couldn't imagine wanting to return. It is about more than losing now. If he has any pride as a man he would say bye.

Doug Mac , Dubas over paid his top four , allowed #88 to sit out , then gave in , setting the stage for being short for the rest of the teams contracts . Dubas drafted small defencemen who could not cut it , both Swedes with first round picks , Goalies drafted ? Dubas is the reason we never won rounds in the playoffs , giving away picks , drafting small players , no goalie , not exactly the way to build a winner used by Montéal or anyone else. Who chose Dubas? Ya right…

From a Torontonian that doesnt have the leafs as my no.1 team, the suspension should be the rest of the season and playoffs if the league has any pretense of protecting stars.
