I saw Chmelar play at the beginning of last year & posted that he was much too passive out there. As the season went on he began to be more aggressive & use his body more I said he'd passed Sykora as a prospect.. It's amazing how much he has improved & he's a legit prospect IMO & will play on the varsity next season. Hard to believe that the Kraken put a guy like Kartye on waivers. He's just the type Rangers need– can play the boards effectively where games are won & lost. IMO opinion Rangers scouting is far better than most fans think it is. Drury tied their hands by trading away too many top picks for rentals. They drafted Perreault at 23 & that will turn out to be the steal of that draft. They have been outstanding with 4-7 round picks IMO. Brody Lamb was a 4th rounder & give him a couple of seasons to see what he can do in the AHL. Sullivan has finally come to his senses with Lafreniere & I give him kudos for trying Edstrom as the 4th line center. And those people that criticize Igor's contract, please STOP!, he's worth every FN penny of it!!!!

If Igor doesn’t get hurt,we’re in range to make playoffs.I think our forward group will be fine,It s defense that stinks.Gabrakof Fox as top pair and Schneider and Robertson as third pair is fine we need a whole new second pair,weather that be Emery or who ever we draft this year,trade or free agency,if we get that we should be fine next year right back in playoffs.
